Life Support

"You Will Always be My Friend.... You Know to Much"

There is no quote that could be more fitting for my friends. In this past year I have learned so much about myself and my friends. I have learned that they are more than just 'friends' they are my extended family. We have done everything together from sharing secrets, laughing at the most obseen moments, giving/taking advice to crying with one another when you lose a loved one, your job, or just because (cause we do that a lot!!). We have been through it all.. and all I can say for it is that I am truly blessed.

I have been through a lot this past year... graduating from college, moving back to San Jose, loosing some friends, reuniting with old and of course gaining new ones. But in the end there are a select few that are my life support. The ones I can entrust anything to. The ones who will stand up for me even if I were wrong.. and most of all the ones who tell me like it is... good or bad.

These are just a few pictures that make me smile :)

Thank you to you all.. you know who you are! Thank you for being you and being apart of my life.

Hard Hats, Vests & Work Boots...

Sooo... Unemployment sure is an adventure. Trying to find a place where you can settle into without compromise... is there really such a thing? Ive yet to find my perfect job.. although I know its out there! So in the mean time Ive taken any sort of work I can get.. cause honestly money is money, right ;) So I worked as a receptionist last week, did a few babysitting jobs over the weekend then moved straight up to the construction world! lol.

A friend of mine works for the company that is doing the remodel of the San Jose Airport, and once a month he goes out and documents the progress of this. So yesturday and today I geared up in my MBI Hardhat, yellow and orange safty vest and a good ol pair of work boots!! Yah, I never thought id be that outfit either..lol.. but we actually had a blast! We had security clearence pretty much throughout the whole airport. Yesturday we were in the construction zone for the new terminal and today we were in the new parking garage as well as in Terminal A... we even got to go onto the runways.. I was in utter awe!! Unfortunatly I didnt get to be behind the camera, I was the assistant recording the data of the stuff Nick was photographing.. but all in all it was fun.

The best part...I was able to cross one of my "Things To Do" OFF my list... walk on an airport runway... CHECK CHECK :)

Life.. and ohhhh the facts of life!!

LIFE....how do you break down that word? It can be decribed in so many thing: Adventourous, Exciting, Dramatic, Troublesome, Risk-taking, Impluse, Growth, Energy, Vitality.. or even just 'being'.. but for me right now the one word that comes to mind is Faith! I have to have so much faith right now in my life. Faith that God will open the RIGHT door for me to go through to start my career, Faith that he will provide for my fanacial needs when I am not making any income... Faith Faith Faith!!!
I was in Orange County this past weekend spending time with Matthew and some family, as usual, we went to church on Sunday, only this time we went to the church that Joh and Christine go to... trying to find a church that can be called my "second home church", and comparing them all to Bethel, is HARD!! But the Pastor was amazing, I can truly see what Jon loves so much about him. He takes you places, paints a picture in your mind of what hes trying to portay. He focused a lot on this particular verse...
"If clouds are full of water, it will pour rain down on the earth. Whether a tree fall to the south or to the north, in the place where is falls, there it will lie" Ecclesiastes 11:3
At first when he read this I thought he was crazy.. I didnt understand what it meant or how it could even slightly relate to my life.. turns out, it fits me perfectly. He emphasised on the fact that you cant change the plans God has for you. You need to have Faith and believe in him and be open to his doors that he has planned for you to walk through. He only wants the best for us, and for us to follow his commands we need to be willing to go through him to reach our full potential.. in him and in life!
I am currently unemployeed, as are many others. In this, I am going to put my chin up, continue to be faithful in him... Tithe, Pray and Seek! I truly believe that the right door is out there, and he will open it for me... soon and where is the only question!!
